David and Cara Lawson-Ball, your guides have more than 30 years combined experience, hosting groups on the Manistee.
Past experiences for David include serving as a waterfront director for an Indiana state park, church camp, and project director of Outdoor Impact, an outdoor adventure program for youth.
David also serves as a leadership and organizational assessment consultant, trained through the Peter F. Drucker Foundation, and is a graduate of the Cass County Leadership Academy.
Cara is a graduate of the Central Midwest District Leadership school and has a degree in Fine Arts and has taught in a variety of settings. She is an artist with an emphasis in sculpture and ceramics. (She has found some great clay on the river).
